The selection of welding equipment is an important part of the development of welding process, involving many factors, but should pay attention to the following factors. 1. Technical requirements of welded structures The technical requirements of welded structures include the material characteristics, structural characteristics, dimensions, accuracy requirements and conditions of use of the structure. If the welding structure material is ordinary low carbon steel, arc welding transformer can be selected; if the welding structure requirements are high, and low hydrogen type electrode welding is required, DC arc welding machine should be selected. If it is thick and large welding, electroslag welding machine can be used; if it is bar butt, cold pressure welding can be used.
